Michael Ružić transfers from Joventut to Louisiana State University

Croatian basketball player Michael Ružić has finalized his move from the Spanish top-tier club Joventut to the Louisiana State University Tigers. Ružić activated an exit clause by paying a compensation fee after confirming his eligibility to play in the American NCAA league.

Ružić, who joined Joventut's youth academy in the summer of 2023, was previously selected for the Spanish league's best young players' five-man lineup. During his time in Spain, he received development support from former Croatian international Ante Tomić.

Joventut praised the 20-year-old for his professionalism and dedication throughout his tenure. Ružić has already been in the United States for some time, which prevented his participation in Joventut's recent Spanish Super Cup victory.
