Michael Schumacher's family and colleagues share tributes

Family and former colleagues of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher have shared reflections on his life and enduring legacy thirteen years after his skiing accident in the French Alps.

Michael’s brother, Ralf Schumacher, recently visited Ristorante Montana in Italy, a location Michael frequented during his racing career. Ralf shared photos of the establishment, noting that ‘the images say more than a thousand words’ as a tribute to his brother.

Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt also spoke about his lifelong bond with the driver and his family. Todt recounted the immediate solidarity shown following the December 2013 accident, noting that while Schumacher has changed, the connection with his family, including his wife Corinna, remains strong. Todt highlighted Schumacher’s character, recalling how the driver maintained professional elegance even during difficult periods in his career, such as after a mechanical failure at Silverstone in 1999.
