Michael Waldron discusses Marvel's Nova project

Michael Waldron, the writer behind ‘Loki’ and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, has provided updates regarding Marvel Studios’ development of a ‘Nova’ feature film. Originally considered for a Disney+ series, the project has transitioned into a movie format.

During an interview regarding the second season of ‘Chad Powers’, Waldron expressed that writing and directing a Marvel film would be “a dream come true.” When questioned about persistent fan casting rumors linking actor Glen Powell to the role of Richard Rider, Waldron declined to confirm or deny the possibility, noting that such questions are for someone hypothetically directing the film.

Waldron, who is also co-writing ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ with Stephen McFeely, has previously expressed his affinity for the character of Richard Rider.
