Michael Wolff predicts political uncertainty for Trump and MAGA movement
Biographer Michael Wolff has expressed doubt regarding the long-term viability of the MAGA movement and the future of the Republican Party following Donald Trump’s presidency. Speaking on the podcast ‘Inside Trump’s Head,’ Wolff suggested that Trump may not allow a Republican successor to succeed him and predicted that ‘Trumpism’ will likely fizzle out once he leaves office.
Wolff further speculated that Trump might attempt to lead an opposition party from Mar-a-Lago in 2029, effectively creating a ‘counter White House.’
Additionally, Wolff commented on the political fallout from a controversial attack ad released by Ohio GOP gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. The ad, which targeted opponent Amy Acton by referencing her mother’s history of child custody issues, has faced widespread criticism from across the political spectrum. While Ramaswamy, Donald Trump, and JD Vance have supported the ad, Wolff noted that the backlash has been overwhelmingly negative, describing the tactic as having ‘backfired in every possible sense.’
