Michael Wolff predicts Trump will target Republican allies after midterm losses

Trump biographer Michael Wolff predicts that Donald Trump will target his own inner circle and Republican allies if the party suffers significant losses in the upcoming midterm elections. Speaking on his ‘Inside Trump’s Head’ podcast, Wolff suggests that Trump views political setbacks as existential threats and tends to seek scapegoats when things do not go his way.

Wolff anticipates that a potential ‘blue wave’ could lead to Republicans losing control of the House and potentially the Senate. He claims that Trump is likely to ‘throw dirt on virtually anybody who is a Republican’ and will attempt to undermine those who might seek to replace him by asserting that they are ‘nothing without me.’
