Michal Kvasnička, founder of Anděl pro Vás charity, issues final farewell

Michal Kvasnička, the founder of the charitable organization Anděl pro Vás, has issued a final farewell to his supporters via social media as his health rapidly declines. Kvasnička, who has been undergoing oncological treatment since February 2023, shared a poignant message on X, stating, “Today is the last day. I no longer have the strength to write. Thank you all for the journey, think of me, think of my family, of Anděl pro Vás and do at least a little good.”

Inspired by a drawing from his daughter, Kvasnička established the organization to combat the isolation felt by cancer patients. Through the project, he distributed “packages of hope” containing craft supplies, angel stickers, and messages from survivors to patients across the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including pediatric oncology wards in Košice. In the previous year alone, the organization assisted 863 patients.

In response to his deteriorating condition, Kvasnička’s family has launched a fundraising campaign on the Donio portal to support his wife and children with living expenses and energy costs.
