Michal Suchánek becomes a grandfather

Czech actor and comedian Michal Suchánek has become a grandfather following the birth of his grandson, Florián, on August 7. The child is the son of Suchánek’s daughter, Berenika Šrettrová (also referred to as Berenika Suchánková), who managed to keep her pregnancy private.

During a recent appearance at a Broadway Theatre summer party, Suchánek expressed his joy regarding the new addition to the family, though he noted he is still adjusting to the title of “grandfather.” He shared intentions to spoil his grandson with modern toys and gadgets, though he admitted he is not comfortable with tasks like diaper changing.

In addition to discussing his family, Suchánek commented on the difficulties young people face regarding the current housing market. He criticized the state for failing to make housing affordable for young couples, suggesting that the high cost of living makes it difficult for the younger generation to establish themselves.
