Michalis Khatzigiannis postpones August 2026 concert after emergency gallbladder surgery

Greek pop singer Michalis Khatzigiannis announced that he underwent an emergency cholecystectomy. The operation required a recovery period, prompting his production team to postpone his scheduled concert on 6 August 2026 at the Olympia Floka theatre in Ancient Olympia.

The venue and date will be confirmed once his programme is re‑organized, and other upcoming shows are also being shifted to accommodate his recuperation. Khatzigiannis thanked his fans, doctors and nursing staff for their support, stating he is in good condition but needs additional time to heal before returning to the stage.
