Michalis Chrysochoidis discusses Thessaloniki safety and development

Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrysochoidis spoke at an ONNED event in Thessaloniki, discussing the city's development, safety, and infrastructure. During a discussion titled ‘Thessaloniki is moving: A city with safe and modern transport’ held during the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair, Chrysochoidis highlighted the city's economic growth and cultural activities.

Addressing public safety, the Minister noted that crime rates are decreasing due to the efforts of 5,000 police officers in the Thessaloniki metropolitan area. He also commented on the investigation into the fatal attack on Aphrodite Nestor, stating that some perpetrators are in custody while others involved in related attacks will soon be arrested and brought to justice.
