Michel-Ange Balikwisha nearing departure from Celtic

Michel-Ange Balikwisha is reportedly nearing a departure from Celtic. The 25-year-old Congolese winger has struggled to secure playing time under manager Martin O’Neill, falling out of tactical plans and missing several match selections.

Balikwisha joined Celtic in August 2025 from Royal Antwerp for approximately 5.2 million euros. Before his move to Scotland, he established a strong reputation in Belgium, notably scoring 30 goals and providing 17 assists in 145 appearances for Antwerp.

Several clubs are monitoring his situation, including AC Monza, FC Basel, and SV 07 Elversberg. While interest is growing, there is currently no clear favorite to secure his signature.
