Michel Temer's law firm signed R$ 30M contract with Banco Master
Investigations have revealed that the law firm of former President Michel Temer signed a contract worth up to R$ 30 million with Banco Master, owned by Daniel Vorcaro. The agreement, signed in September 2025, was intended to facilitate the sale of Banco Master to Banco de Brasília (BRB). The fee structure included R$ 10 million in initial payments and an additional R$ 20 million contingent upon the transaction receiving Central Bank authorization, which was ultimately denied.
Federal Police messages indicate that advertiser Elsinho Mouco acted as an intermediary for the contract. The firm's scope of work included monitoring legal processes involving the Central Bank and the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU).
Separately, video footage has surfaced showing various Brazilian authorities, including Federal Police Director-General Andrei Rodrigues and Prosecutor General Paulo Gonet, attending a reception in London in April 2024. The event was sponsored by Banco Master. President Lula stated he has reprimanded Director Rodrigues, noting that the explanation provided for attending the Master-sponsored event was unconvincing.
