Michela Crucitti wins Premio America Giovani award

Michela Crucitti, a philologist from Caulonia, has been named one of the winners of the Premio America Giovani, awarded by the Fondazione Italia USA. The award recognizes one thousand Italian university graduates annually for academic excellence, based on criteria such as graduation grades, exam averages, academic timing, and international experience.

Crucitti received the award during a ceremony at the Chamber of Deputies. As part of the recognition, she will attend the Foundation’s master’s program in ‘Leadership for International Relations and Made in Italy’ free of charge. Giovanni Maiolo, the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Culture of Caulonia, praised her achievement as an example of how academic dedication can provide a path to global opportunities regardless of one's place of origin.
