Michela Fucile appointed president of Tuscany Nautical District

Michela Fucile has assumed the presidency of the Tuscany Nautical and Port Technology District for the 2025-2027 term. A maritime entrepreneur from Viareggio, Fucile represents Confartigianato and succeeds Andrea Giannecchini of CNA.

The leadership transition follows a shared agreement between the District's components, intended to ensure continuity and cohesion within the Tuscan nautical system. The previous phase under Giannecchini focused on strategic planning, including the adoption of a Regional Strategic Document for Tuscan Nautical and the development of a memorandum of understanding for the ‘Tuscany Yachting Destination’.

Fucile aims to move from strategic planning to implementation, focusing on transforming the region's diverse nautical assets—ranging from large shipyards to highly specialized artisans—into concrete growth opportunities for businesses and local territories. The District's mission includes supporting small and medium-sized enterprises through innovation and the strengthening of production chains and services.
