Michele Antonio D'Apote's 'Shakespeare – L'amore proibito' Debuts in Fano

The performance follows a successful March showing at the Persiani theatre in Recanati and marks the first summer date for The Muse Fam season. D'Apote, artistic director of a dance‑visual arts company from Porto Recanati, blends contemporary physical theatre and dance to reinterpret the Shakespearean universe, centering on the figure of the Italian‑born English lexicographer John Florio. The show combines movement, music, light, and audience interaction to explore themes of identity, forbidden love, and cultural memory. The cast includes Jacopo Sergi as William Shakespeare, Alessandro Rombini as John Florio, and several other performers.
