Michele Cocomazzi resigns as assessor in Termoli

Michele Cocomazzi has officially submitted his resignation from the municipal government of Termoli, addressing his letter to Mayor Nicola Antonio Balice.

Cocomazzi clarified that his departure is not due to a rift with Aldo Patriciello, the regional commissioner of Lega per Salvini Premier. He emphasized that his relationship with Patriciello remains based on mutual trust and respect. Instead, he described the decision as a shared choice with regional party leadership driven by political opportunity, personal reasons, and professional motivations.

Cocomazzi stated that his resignation aims to allow younger members to enter the administration and to prepare himself for future institutional roles of greater complexity. He noted that the decision was made in agreement with Patriciello to facilitate a transition that benefits the party's electoral contribution.
