Michele de Pascale visits Sant’Anna Hospital in Castelnovo ne’ Monti

Michele de Pascale, President of the Emilia-Romagna region, visited the Sant’Anna Hospital in Castelnovo ne’ Monti to inspect ongoing renovation and improvement works. The project involves an investment of over 8.1 million euros, including seismic upgrades funded through the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan).

Structural works on Pavilion H were completed in March, with the second, third, and fourth floors handed back in June. These floors are designated for medical offices, cardiology wards, and endoscopic surgical outpatient clinics. Current efforts are focused on the first floor, which houses the main hospital entrance, including building finishes, system testing, and the installation of furniture and medical equipment.

De Pascale emphasized that investing in mountain healthcare services is essential to ensuring the universal right to care and combating rural depopulation by making mountain territories viable places to live and work.
