Michele Di Gregorio joins Bournemouth on loan from Juventus

AFC Bournemouth has completed the signing of goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio on a season-long loan from Juventus. The 29-year-old Italian moves to the Premier League following the arrival of Guglielmo Vicario at Juventus.

The loan agreement includes a fee of approximately €1.3 million, which could increase by €800,000 based on performance targets. Bournemouth holds an option to purchase the player permanently for a fixed fee of roughly €12.7 million, plus potential add-ons of up to €1.5 million. If the club chooses not to exercise the purchase option, they are required to pay a penalty to Juventus.

Di Gregorio, who previously earned Serie A goalkeeper of the year honors while at Monza, recorded 36 clean sheets in 84 appearances during his two seasons with Juventus. At Bournemouth, he will compete for a starting position with Djordje Petrovic as the club prepares for Premier League and UEFA Europa League competition.
