Michele Monina launches Spot//On music interview series

Michele Monina has launched Spot//On, a new interview format produced by Mirò BR Productions and released exclusively on the All Music Italia YouTube channel. The project features approximately ten-minute interviews with artists and industry professionals, including producers, sound technicians, and managers, to provide a look into the contemporary music supply chain.

Starting in late September 2026, the series releases three videos per week. The interviews are primarily recorded at the Shake Edizioni bookstore in Milan, a location described by Monina as a hub for Milanese counterculture. The format is structured into two parts: the first focuses on the subjects' early steps in music, while the second addresses their current work.

Spot//On originated as an extension of the Spot | Il podcast series, which was recorded live at the SPOT Music Fest in Bareggio. While the current series is centered in Milan, the production may move to record at record labels or concert backstages, and may eventually transition back to long-form live recordings for larger events.
