Michele Napolitano receives Ethical Agriculture Award for Junceum farm

Michele Napolitano, founder of the Junceum social and educational farm in Vibo Valentia, has been awarded the ‘Premio Agricoltura Etica’ (Ethical Agriculture Award) during the Agri World Expo 2026. The award was presented by Donato Lisanti, president of the ITEA association, at the University of Calabria.

Established in 2012, the Junceum farm spans over 11 hectares and operates as a multifunctional enterprise. In addition to producing oil, vegetables, and honey, the farm focuses on environmental and food education, rehabilitation, and social inclusion. Notably, it provides reintegration programs for minors and adults with judicial backgrounds, working in synergy with the Ministry of Justice.

The scientific committee recognized the farm for creating a virtuous model that combines agricultural production with human growth, integration, and community well-being.
