Michele Zarrillo to close MediTa Festival in Taranto

Singer-songwriter Michele Zarrillo will conclude the seventh edition of the MediTa Festival on Monday, September 7, at the Villa Peripato Arena in Taranto. The performance will feature a symphonic arrangement of his career hits, including “Cinque giorni,” “Una rosa blu,” and “Strade di Roma.”

Zarrillo will be accompanied by the Orchestra ICO della Magna Grecia, conducted by Roberto Molinelli, and the L. A. Chorus, led by Daniela Nasti. The event is part of a festival focused on the intersection of Italian pop-rock and orchestral music, under the artistic direction of Piero Romano.

During the evening, the “Premio dei Due Mari” will be presented by Emanuele di Palma, president of BCC San Marzano di San Giuseppe. The festival is supported by the Municipality of Taranto, the Puglia Region, and the Ministry of Culture.
