Micheli Pinna Sardinian Poetry Prize opens applications

Applications are now open for the 2nd Micheli Pinna Sardinian Poetry Prize. Following the success of its inaugural edition, the competition has expanded its scope to allow participation without geographic or age restrictions.

The prize is organized by the Limba de vida 3 Linguistic Desk in collaboration with the Camillo Bellieni Institute of Studies and Research in Sassari, the Municipality of Uri, and the Giovanni Maria Cherchi Library of Uri. The event serves to honor the memory of Michele Pinna, a philosopher, poet, writer, and scientific coordinator who passed away in 2022.

Part of the Limba de vida 3 project, the initiative is funded by national and regional laws regarding the protection of linguistic minorities. The project involves several municipalities, including Ossi, Uri, Usini, Ploaghe, Martis, Laerru, and Cargeghe. The deadline for submitting entries is November 27, with the award ceremony scheduled for December 15, 2026.
