MICHELIN extends partnership with Maastricht through 2029

MICHELIN and the city of Maastricht have extended their partnership for at least three additional years. As a result, the MICHELIN Guide Restaurant Ceremony will continue to be held at MECC Maastricht during 2027, 2028, and 2029 as part of the BBB Maastricht event.

The collaboration involves several entities, including MECC Maastricht, BBB Maastricht, the province of Limburg, the municipality of Maastricht, and the regional business community. The partnership aims to maintain BBB Maastricht as a central platform where the Dutch gastronomy and hospitality sectors converge.

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide, expressed enthusiasm for the extension, noting that Maastricht’s culinary reputation and hospitality make it a natural setting to celebrate the best of Dutch gastronomy.
