Michelin Guide announces new French restaurant selections and artisanal maps

The Michelin Guide has announced 15 new culinary additions to its French selection for 2026. Seven of these new establishments are located in Paris, including Les Arse in the 5th arrondissement and Geoélia in the 16th arrondissement.

Beyond the capital, the guide highlights regional gastronomy, such as Maison L’Essentiel in Dijon led by chef Richard Bernigaud, O’BikiniBé in Saint-Malo, and Le Couchet in La Bresse, where chef Jonathan Maugard operates at an altitude of 900 meters.

In a separate thematic release, Michelin has launched its 834th map, which is the first entirely dedicated to industrial and artisanal heritage. This thematic map, titled ‘La France des savoir-faire’, features over 350 locations, including workshops, factories, and manufactures, allowing the public to visit various sites of French craftsmanship and production.
