Michelin Guide Netherlands 2026: De Librije retains three stars

The Michelin Guide Netherlands 2026 has been announced in Maastricht, revealing updates to the country's culinary landscape. De Librije in Zwolle remains the sole restaurant in the Netherlands to hold three Michelin stars. Following the passing of chef Jonnie Boer last year, the restaurant successfully maintained its highest distinction under the leadership of Thérèse Boer and chef Nelson Tanate.

Two restaurants, Azurite in Delft and SUIS in Schin op Geul, were promoted to two Michelin stars. Additionally, seven establishments received their first Michelin star: Ambrozijn, Bij Sidney, De Cuijt, Le Epifaan, Nassau, Rozewied, and Wild Atelier.

In total, the Netherlands now features 119 restaurants with at least one star, including 20 two-star establishments and 98 one-star locations. Other notable mentions include Zout & Citroen in Oosterhout, which has maintained its single star for seven consecutive years.
