Michelin Guide expands culinary recognition in Spain and Mexico

The Michelin Guide continues to expand its culinary recognition, highlighting diverse dining experiences across different regions. In Ferrol, Spain, the restaurant Lembranzas, led by chef Sergio Roca, has been added to the guide's recommendations. Roca, who trained under Jordi Cruz, offers a menu focused on seasonal products and shared plates that blend tradition with modern techniques.

In Mexico, the guide is seeing significant growth in its Bib Gourmand category, which recognizes high-quality cuisine at reasonable prices. The number of Bib Gourmand establishments in Mexico rose from 42 in 2024 to 63 in 2026, a 50% increase. This expansion includes new locations in Jalisco, Puebla, and Yucatán, featuring diverse offerings ranging from traditional taquerías to more formal dining establishments.
