Michelin Guide expands restaurant recognition in North Carolina

The 2026 edition of the Michelin Guide has expanded its coverage of North Carolina restaurants. Following the guide's initial arrival in the state in 2025, the latest update includes several notable recognitions.

Counter in Charlotte has been awarded one Michelin Star. Additionally, the guide highlights sustainability through Michelin Green Stars, awarded to Counter in Charlotte and Luminosa in Asheville.

In the Bib Gourmand category, which recognizes high-quality food at good value, the guide features Ajja in Raleigh, Ideal’s in Durham, Lang Van in Charlotte, and Little Chang.
