MICHELIN Guide Philippines 2027 recognizes 127 restaurants
The MICHELIN Guide Manila and Environs & Cebu 2027 has unveiled its latest selection, featuring 127 recognized establishments across the Philippines. This edition includes one two-star restaurant, nine one-star restaurants, 31 Bib Gourmand selections, and 86 MICHELIN Selected entries.
Notable highlights include FLOW in Makati, which became the country’s only newly starred restaurant of the year. Helm in Makati also retained its two-star distinction. The guide expanded its coverage to include Pampanga for the first time, alongside existing recognitions in Metro Manila, Cavite, and Cebu.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. noted during the ceremony that the international recognition of Filipino cuisine presents significant opportunities for local food businesses, farmers, and the tourism sector. Inspectors observed a strengthening of Filipino culinary identity, with local ingredients and regional traditions driving much of the new talent and diversity in the dining scene.
