Michelin Guide unveils 2026 Toronto and Region restaurant selections

The MICHELIN Guide has unveiled its 2026 restaurant selections for Toronto and the surrounding region. During a ceremony at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, the guide announced a total of 111 restaurants representing 33 different cuisine types.

While no new Michelin stars were awarded this year, the guide recognized five new Bib Gourmand recipients for providing high-quality food at a good value. These include Antylia, Golden Horseshoe Barbecue, Les Incompetents, RPM Bakehouse, and The Lunch Lady of Saigon. Additionally, 11 restaurants were added to the selection as Recommended eateries for the first time.

The number of Michelin-starred restaurants in the region has decreased from 17 to 15. This change follows the loss of a star by Toronto’s Aburi Hana and the closure of Hexagon in Oakville.
