Michelin Power Days 2026 draws record 870 riders at Mugello and Misano in Italy
Michelin’s 2026 Power Days attracted a record‑breaking crowd of more than 870 motorcyclists across two Italian venues. The first event at the Mugello circuit saw 330 participants, while the July gathering at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli hosted over 540 riders, setting a new participation high for the format.
Riders tested the company’s hypersport tyre range, including the Power GP2, Power Cup 2, Power Performance Slick and Power Slick 2 models. Former 500 cc world champion Marco Lucchinelli acted as opening rider, and ex‑Honda 250 cc rider Fausto Ricci assisted on‑track, offering direct feedback to participants. Michelin collected rider impressions to refine future tyre performance.
The events, organized by the French tyre maker, aim to let motorcyclists evaluate tyre grip, consistency and safety in real‑world track conditions while strengthening ties with the specialist dealer network.
