Michelle Branch and Maren Morris release reimagined duet of ‘Goodbye to You’

Grammy-winning artists Michelle Branch and Maren Morris have released a reimagined duet version of the song ‘Goodbye to You’. Originally released in 2001 on Branch’s debut album ‘The Spirit Room’, the new rendition serves as the second confirmed track from Branch’s upcoming EP, ‘Everywhere and Back Again’, which is scheduled for release via BMG on November 6.

The collaboration was first previewed last month at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium during Morris’ tenth anniversary celebration of her album ‘HERO’. The new release is accompanied by a music video featuring Branch, Morris, and Kristin Cavallari, which incorporates nostalgic elements from the series ‘Laguna Beach’.

Branch expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting that Morris’ version brought a fresh perspective to the song she wrote as a teenager. Morris stated her intention was to provide a unique spin on the track while honoring the original songwriting.
