Michelle Pfeiffer reflects on motherhood and new role as grandmother

Actress Michelle Pfeiffer has shared reflections on her experiences with motherhood, parenting, and her recent transition into grandmotherhood. She described the emotional impact of her children leaving home, noting that while the feeling of emptiness is significant, it is a phase that one eventually recovers from.

Pfeiffer, who welcomed a granddaughter in 2023 following her daughter Claudia’s pregnancy, has described the experience as “heaven.” Despite her busy schedule managing her fragrance company, Henry Rose, and her acting career, she expressed intentions to take time off to focus on her family.

In her professional life, Pfeiffer recently received an Emmy nomination for her supporting role in the television adaptation of ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’. Show creator David E. Kelley noted that Pfeiffer was his first choice for the role of Shyanne.
