Michelle Pfeiffer says she will no longer headline films, will focus on ensemble TV projects

Pfeiffer highlighted her recent television work, citing Apple TV+’s comedy‑drama Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Paramount+’s family drama The Madison, both of which have been renewed for additional seasons. She is an Emmy‑nominee for her supporting role in Margo’s Got Money Troubles and praised the “complex, flawed” female characters on TV, noting a Robin Williams quote about kindness that resonates with the series’ message.

The actress, 68, emphasized that television now offers richer material for women performers, and she plans to continue acting and producing in such ensemble television projects rather than returning to lead‑role film work.
