Michelle Williams returns to college to study psychology

Michelle Williams, a singer known for her membership in the group Destiny’s Child, has announced her return to higher education. The 47-year-old is currently a sophomore at Regent University in Virginia Beach, where she is studying psychology.

Williams shared the news via Instagram, noting that she initially hesitated to tell friends and family due to fears of not completing the degree. She expressed a strong commitment to finishing her studies, stating, “I’m going to finish, and I’m going to finish strong.”

This academic pursuit follows a career that saw her leave Illinois State University after two years of studying criminal justice to join Destiny’s Child in 2000. Since the group's disbandment in 2006, Williams has maintained a successful career in gospel music, theater, and television.
