Michigan Animal Rescue League reunites abandoned kittens with mother

Magee Humes, director of the Michigan Animal Rescue League (MARL) in the United States, discovered five small, flea-infested kittens abandoned in a box outside the shelter during the night.

Security footage revealed that the kittens' mother had briefly exited the box to explore the surroundings before becoming separated from them. After the rescue team cleaned the kittens, the mother cat was reunited with her offspring. The cats, named Post-It, Crayola, Scotch, Expo, Elmere, and Sharpie, have been placed with a foster family and will soon be available for adoption.
