Michigan animal shelter rescues abandoned terrier mix
A six-month-old terrier mix, named Lola Lopp, was rescued from Moores Park in Lansing, Michigan, after being found abandoned next to a bag of dog food. The dog was spotted by a passerby, who alerted her husband, who then contacted the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter after the dog began wandering toward a road.
Shelter staff reported that while the dog initially arrived scared and overwhelmed, she has since begun to show an affectionate personality. The story gained significant attention on social media following the shelter's post about her rescue.
