Michigan basketball begins nine-day foreign tour in Europe

The Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team is currently conducting a nine-day foreign tour, which includes three exhibition games. The program, led by Mike Boynton Jr., is scheduled to play its first game on Sunday and a second on Monday in Lithuania. The team will then travel to Croatia for a third game slated for next Thursday.

Key areas of focus for the 2026-27 season during this tour include determining the team's third ball handler following roster changes and assessing the effectiveness of the pick-and-roll offense involving Elliot Cadeau and new big men J. P. Estrella and Moustapha Thiam. Additionally, the team will evaluate its paint defense and the availability of commit Kenny Noland, who remains ineligible following a court ruling.
