Michigan festivals scheduled for Labor Day weekend 2026
Several community festivals are scheduled for the 2026 Labor Day weekend in Michigan.
In Tawas City, the Labor Day Arts and Craft Show will take place on September 5-6 at Shoreline Park. The event features more than 130 vendor booths showcasing handmade arts, crafts, and decorative items for homes and yards. The show is scheduled to run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
In Royal Oak, the 29th annual Michigan Lottery Arts, Beats & Eats festival will run from September 4 through September 7. The festival includes over 200 musical performances across 11 stages, featuring artists such as Third Eye Blind, Brett Young, Chris Young, and Kool & The Gang. The event also hosts over 50 food vendors and a fine art fair with 125 artists displaying works including paintings, photography, and sculpture. Family-oriented activities will be provided by the Detroit News Kids Zone and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
