Michigan football prepares for new era with key transfers and recruits

The Michigan Wolverines are preparing for a new era under coach Kyle Whittingham, focusing on roster reinforcements through the transfer portal and recruiting. In the defensive secondary, safety Chris Bracy is expected to be a starter alongside Rod Moore. Bracy, a former three-star recruit from Alabama, previously played for UAB and Memphis, where he recorded 81 tackles and nine passes defended last season.

On the offensive side, Michigan has bolstered its passing attack by landing five-star wide receiver Salesi Moa via the transfer portal and securing commitment from four-star receiver Travis Johnson. Wide receivers coach Micah Simon indicated that the program intends to play to its strengths to create an explosive offense, moving away from the run-first identity of previous regimes to better attract high-caliber talent.
