Michigan football receives injury updates following loss to Iowa
Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham provided several injury updates following the team’s 20-19 loss to Iowa. A significant development for the Wolverines' offensive line is the news that Andrew Babalola is expected to begin practicing next week, providing much-needed depth after missing time due to a knee injury and a setback during fall camp.
The team continues to manage several other injuries. Right tackle Andrew Sprague has missed consecutive games, and his availability remains under evaluation. Additionally, Manuel Beigel is expected to return to practice this week after missing the game against Iowa.
On the defensive side, edge rusher John Henry Daley sustained an injury late in the game against Iowa; the coaching staff expects to have more clarity regarding his status by Wednesday. The status of Dom Nichols also remains uncertain following his appearance in the recent matchup.
