Michigan football to add two transfer portal players

The Michigan Wolverines football program is poised to add two players via the transfer portal mid-season following a legal ruling. Former Miami tight end Alex Bauman and former Boise State cornerback Jeremiah Earby were both granted a preliminary injunction for a fifth year of eligibility by the Washtenaw County Circuit Court.

Bauman, a former Tulane player, brings significant experience to the Michigan offense, having previously recorded 63 catches and 13 touchdowns at Tulane and contributing to Miami’s run to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Earby, an All-Mountain West Second Team selection from Boise State, is expected to provide depth to the Wolverines' secondary. Both players are reportedly already enrolled at the university and may be eligible to play immediately due to the temporary restraining order against the NCAA.
