Michigan residents secure major gambling jackpots

Two significant gambling wins have been reported in Michigan. An online player using the Hollywood Casino website, operated by Penn Entertainment, turned a $1.07 spin into a $3.65 million jackpot. The win occurred on the Bao Zhu Fu Red slot by Aristocrat and is recognized as the third-largest jackpot in Michigan history and the fifth-largest in U.S. online casino history.

Separately, a woman from Presque Isle County won a $530,869 Lucky 7s Fast Cash jackpot through the Michigan Lottery. The winner, Shawn Penfold, purchased the winning ticket at a retailer in Rogers City after noticing the progressive jackpot had exceeded $500,000.
