Michigan school board candidate Mary Renwick faces backlash for controversial video

Mary Renwick, a candidate for the Monroe Public Schools board in Michigan, has drawn significant criticism following a video in which she used aggressive rhetoric directed at supporters of Donald Trump.

In the footage, Renwick reacted to the death of Renee Good, who was fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Renwick expressed anger toward MAGA supporters, stating that they are responsible for the incident and using profanity to describe her views on the political group. She further stated that she hoped supporters would “burn down to the ground” or face legal consequences, claiming they “do not deserve to breathe the same f***ing air as the rest of us.”

Renwick is a local resident and the owner of MJR Photography.
