Michigan Tech prepares for matchups against Ferris State

Michigan Tech faces upcoming challenges against Ferris State in two different athletic programs.

In football, the No. 14 Michigan Tech Huskies travel to face the No. 1 Ferris State Bulldogs. The Huskies are coming off a 16th consecutive victory against Northern Michigan, led by junior quarterback Alex Bueno, who recently recorded 268 yards and three touchdowns. Despite the momentum, Huskies coach Dan Mettlach noted the team needs to improve its mental approach following their recent performance.

In college hockey, the Michigan Tech Huskies (5-1-0) begin CCHA conference play against the Ferris State Bulldogs (0-3-1). While the Huskies have shown strong performance despite an injury to top-line forward Teydon Trembecky, the Bulldogs are looking to recover from a difficult start to their season characterized by low scoring averages and struggles in goaltending.
