Michigan Volleyball Secures Wins Against Wisconsin and Northwestern

The University of Michigan volleyball team secured two victories in Big Ten play. First, the Wolverines defeated the University of Wisconsin 3-1 at the Field House. After losing the opening set 20-25, Wisconsin responded by winning three consecutive sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-22) to secure their eighth conference win. Freshman Decelise Champion led Wisconsin with 20 kills.

In a separate match, Michigan swept Northwestern 3-0 in Evanston. The Wolverines outscored the Wildcats significantly in the latter stages of each set, aided by Sydney Schnichels, who recorded a match-high six aces. Despite the loss, Northwestern freshman middle blocker Maya Stillwell recorded seven kills with a .417 hitting percentage.
