Michigan Wolverines lose two players ahead of 2026 season

The University of Michigan Wolverines football program announced that wide receiver CJ Charleston and safety Taylor Tatum are no longer with the team as fall camp approaches. Charleston’s request for a seventh year of eligibility was denied after recording a single 22‑yard catch in 2024. Tatum, a former Oklahoma running back and top‑ranked 2024 transfer, had been slated to play safety but will now concentrate on baseball.
