Michoacán: Body of man found with gunshot wounds on highway

A man's body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds along the Apatzingán–Presa del Rosario highway in Michoacán, Mexico. The victim, estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old, was found near the Municipal Cemetery on Monday morning after motorists alerted emergency services.

Authorities reported that the man was wearing only blue shorts and had his hands tied behind his back. Investigators recovered six .223 caliber shell casings and a mobile phone at the scene. The Michoacán Prosecutor's Office has taken custody of the body for forensic examination as investigations continue.
