Michoacán Governor Bedolla reports on infrastructure and health investments

Michoacán Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla has delivered government reports in Zamora and Zitácuaro, highlighting various regional developments. In Zamora, he noted the successful treatment of 100 percent of municipal wastewater and significant investments in road infrastructure, including the Zamora-Jacona bypass.

In Zitácuaro, the governor emphasized strategic infrastructure projects such as the modernization of the Maravatío-Zitácuaro highway and the expansion of the ARAUCO Vikingo 2.0 plant, a 360 million dollar private investment expected to create over 3,000 jobs. He also reported improvements in public health, specifically noting a decrease in the abandonment of cancer treatments among children and women.

Regarding political matters, Bedolla stated he will not publicly endorse any candidates in the internal Morena party process, asserting that his vote remains free and secret to maintain institutional respect for the electoral process.

Separately, in Zacatecas, Secretary General of Government Rodrigo Reyes Mugüerza reported a significant decrease in homicides, claiming a 96 percent reduction compared to 2021, as part of ongoing pacification efforts.
