Michoacán Judiciary opens new court in Tarímbaro
The Judiciary of Michoacán has announced the opening of a new auxiliary court in Tarímbaro and the implementation of an online civil court. The Tarímbaro court, located in San Bernabé de las Canteras, will handle civil, family, and mercantile matters for the municipalities of Tarímbaro and Cuitzeo. This marks the first new civil court in the Morelia region in approximately 30 years.
In addition to the physical location, the state is launching an online civil court to facilitate access to justice through information technology. In its initial stage, the digital court will serve the Morelia judicial district, allowing users to conduct certain civil and family procedures without appearing physically at a courthouse.
Hugo Gama Coria, president of the State Judiciary, noted that the expansion aims to reduce travel distances and time for residents in these growing municipalities.
