Michoacán leaders launch statewide tours to rally support for Morena and PRD initiatives

Morena operative Gladyz Butanda is traveling through Michoacán’s municipalities, indigenous communities and local governments to promote the national strategy of President Claudia Sheinbaum, emphasizing the defense of national sovereignty and the need to counter misinformation. She highlighted that “Michoacán tiene una larga historia de lucha por las causas justas de la patria” and pledged to keep the party united and mobilized.

Meanwhile, the PRD has appointed state leader Octavio Ocampo to spearhead the “La Grandeza de Michoacán” tour. Ocampo will visit all 113 municipalities, listen to citizens and gather proposals, stating, “Vamos a recorrer cada comunidad para construir, entre todas y todos, las soluciones que necesita nuestra gente.” The tour aims to rebuild the party’s grassroots presence and strengthen citizen participation ahead of upcoming elections.
