Multiple fatal traffic accidents reported in Mexico and Paraguay
Multiple fatal and non-fatal traffic accidents have been reported across Mexico and Paraguay.
In Michoacán, Mexico, a 28-year-old driver, Alejandro G., died following a collision between his Seat Ibiza and a Freightliner truck carrying chickens on the Zitácuaro-Morelia highway. The truck driver fled the scene. In another Michoacán incident, a 19-year-old motorcyclist was injured after swerving to avoid a dog on Highway 51.
In Paraguay, two 19-year-old men died in Ypané after their motorcycle fell into a watercourse during heavy fog. The victims were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
Other reported incidents in Mexico include a motorcyclist injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Tlaquepaque, two women injured after hitting a speed bump in Yautepec, and two teenagers killed in Celestún after their motorcycle struck a coconut tree. Additionally, two motorcyclists were injured in Ciudad Victoria following a collision at an intersection where a stop sign was reportedly obscured by tree branches.
